 Perrysburg High School is a proud member of the Northern Lakes League and member school of the Ohio High School Athletic Association.  The continued support of the Perrysburg Board of Education, Perrysburg Athletic Boosters, and the community allows PHS to offer 25 different varsity sports and provide our student-athletes with top facilities, centered around the unified district mission of ensuring all students achieve their greatest potential. 

 

 

The Perrysburg Athletic Department believes that school-based athletics are an extension of the classroom.  We strive each day to honor our ultimate purpose, which is to foster lifelong values, good citizenship, ethics, and a fair-play approach to life among student-athletes while promoting safe and sporting like athletic environments.

 

 

Throughout the Yellow Jacket's rich athletic history traditions have been created, lifelong bonds formed, and with each new graduating class the foundation of excellence has been carried on.  Since 1967, the athletic teams of Perrysburg have claimed 3 state championships in 3 different sports, accumulated coutless appearances in district and regional contests, and earned a total of 246 league championships.  Of these, the Yellow Jackets have hoisted 1 state championship and 125 league titles since the turn of the century in 2000. During the 2017-18 school year, 50 alumni of the black and gold will be continuing their academic and athletic careers as student-athletes at the collegiate level in various sports throughout the country.
