Tuesday, August 10 – Orientation Night, Incoming 7th Grade Last Name Beginning in:

A-E: 3:00 pm - 4:15 pm

F-L:  4:15 pm - 5:30 pm

M-S: 5:30 pm - 6:45 pm

T-Z: 6:45 pm - 8:00 pm


Wednesday, August 11– Orientation Night, Incoming 8th Grade Last Name Beginning in:

A-E:  3:00 pm - 4:15 pm 

F-L:  4:15 pm - 5:30 pm

M-S:  5:30 pm - 6:45 pm 

T-Z:  6:45 pm - 8:00 pm


***The building will be open the following dates and times if you are unable to attend to attend either of the Orientation Nights:

    Thursday, August 12     7:30 am - 8:00 pm 

    Friday, August 13     7:30 am - 8:00 pm

    Monday, August 16    1:00 pm - 8:00 pm    

***Please note that the office support staff will only be available until 2:45 pm each day to collect any forms, sell locks, or pass out student schedules.

August 24 - Fall Pictures
August 26 - 7th and 8th Grade Open House at 6:30 p.m. (only parents/guardians attend and will follow the student's schedule).

Pick Up/Drop Off During School Hours

PJHS now has a new secure vestibule for parents and students to enter during school hours (7:50am-2:45pm).

The entrance is at the front of the building (facing South Boundary).

Procedures for early dismissal and late arrival are outlined in the following document:

Anyone who wishes to distribute information to students/families must submit a form using the following link, which may also be found under the Info and Parent tabs on our web site. Understanding PowerSchool and Schoology

Following please find information about two tools available to parents and guardians – PowerSchool and Schoology. These two systems have different purposes that supplement each other.
 
Grades 5 - 12
PowerSchool:
Current course grade
GPA (for grades 9-12)

Schedules

Schoology:
Assignments done during class
Class calendars
Class discussions
Communication with teacher
Homework assignments
Resources for the course
Student groups
Upcoming tests/quizzes
Updates from teachers

Parents and guardians of all 5th grade students and any students new to the district receive an email containing a code and instructions needed to create accounts at the beginning of each school year.
