Return to School Guidelines

PJHS has developed Return to School Guidelines. Our goals for developing these guidelines include:

  • Protecting the health and safety of students, staff, and anyone that enters the building.
  • Providing the best education possible to our students while still following the guidelines given from the federal, state and local levels.
  • Providing our students with the support needed for social and emotional development.
  • Creating environments throughout the building that are able to provide social distancing.

Please see the videos below highlighting the Return to School Guidelines throughout the building.

Open House Videos

Since we were not able to have a traditional Open House this year at PJHS, our staff members created Open House videos. The videos were created so that parents can meet and learn more about the teachers, understand the content and curriculum being covered this year in each class, and understand the expectations for each team or content area.

The videos can be found below. The videos are broken up into 3 categories:

1 - 7th Grade Teams - This link will take you to the videos for Team 7A, Team 7B, Team 7C, Team 7D, and 7th Grade Gifted ELA.

2 - 8th Grade Teams - This link will take you to the videos for Team 8A, Team 8B, Team 8C, Team 8D, and 8th Grade Gifted ELA.

3 - 7th/8th Grade Electives - This link will take you to the videos for all of the electives available in 7th grade and 8th grade.

We look forward to working with your child and your family throughout the 2020-2021 school year.

Pick Up/Drop Off During School Hours

PJHS now has a new secure vestibule for parents and students to enter during school hours (7:50am-2:45pm).

The entrance is at the front of the building (facing South Boundary).
