Careers & Community Service

Hello,

I am Christine Albright, the Coordinator for Careers and Community Service Liaison for Perrysburg Schools. I attended the University of Toledo where I received my Bachelor of Social Work and later my Master of Education in Higher Education. My work experience is fairly diverse. I started my career in Drug and Alcohol Counseling, but left that field to teach English in Japan. Upon returning to the US, I immersed myself in community engagement working with various populations including at risk youth. After about 8 years in community engagement, I made my move into higher education where I worked with students from disadvantaged backgrounds to achieve academic success. Eventually, I transitioned into Career Services at the University where I assisted students with career exploration and development.

I am thrilled to now be in a K-12 environment, helping Perrysburg students increase their career awareness, exploration and planning, as well as developing their personal and interpersonal skills while serving their community.
