Greetings All-

I’m Alexandria Harris (Ms. Harris), the Director of College Advising here at PHS. I was born and raised in the Toledo area. I attended Notre Dame Academy for high school and completed undergraduate at the University of Toledo majoring in Psychology and Kent State University majoring in Finance. I went on to earn a Master of Organizational Leadership from Lourdes University and I’m currently completing my Doctorate in Social Foundations of Education. I have worked at both 2-year and 4-year Colleges/Universities for a combined 15 years experience, so I have a lot of expertise I look forward to sharing with you. 

Some of the services that I provide in my role include:

• Providing individual college advising to students in grades 9-12.

• Assisting students with researching colleges that match their academic performance and career goals.

• Advising and assisting students and families with financial aid resources.

• Organizing college representative visits to PHS and encouraging students to attend.

• Coordinating all scholarships, including local scholarships, and assisting students and parents with scholarship resources, as well as matching scholarships to qualifying candidates.

• Promoting summer enrichment opportunities at various colleges to students and families.

• Providing ACT test prep information and opportunities.

• Organizing annual Decision Day (May 1) festivities for senior class.

Perrysburg High School is using Scoir to send electronic application documents, schedule visits and assist throughout the search and selection process.
