Perrysburg Schools and the Department of Pupil Services are dedicated to providing counseling services that are defined and supported by the American School Counseling Association (ASCA). Our district is striving for excellence by organizing and providing a data drive program and appropriate services at a near to recommended level of student-to-counselor ratios.

CONFIDENTIALITY STATEMENT
School counselors respect the right to confidentiality of students, teachers, parents and staff. Disclosures of abuse and/or imminent danger to self or others are reported to the appropriate agency in accordance with the law. Situations jeopardizing student safety, including incidents of abuse, imminent danger to self or others, bullying and sexual harassment are reported to the building administration.
 
If you are worried that someone is experiencing a mental health crisis, tell a family member or trusted adult right away. Call 911 or the Police if there is any concern about anyone’s safety.

This is a free service that accepts call and texts 24/7 and allows anyone to anonymously share information with school officials and law enforcement about threats to safety. 

Crisis Text Line - text "4hope" to 741741
People of all ages may reach out by text 24/7 to communicate with someone trained to listen and respond in a method that is free, private, secure and confidential. Data usage while texting Crisis Text Line is free and the number will not appear on a phone bill with a mobile service carrier.
