Principal's Message

It is hard to believe that we are already in September and that the 2020-2021 school year has started. Please know that our entire staff is committed to providing your child the best education possible whether they are phyiscally in the building or learning remotely. We will do everything that we can to ease anxiety and apprehension associated with beginning school this year in a way that has never happened before.

Mr. Christie will send out a weekly communication to parents. This communication will share important back-to-school updates. The update for this week can be found below:

Principal Update 9/21/20

Important Dates:
October 16 - End of 1st Quarter
October 20 and 21 - Picture Retakes
October 26 and 29 - Virtual Conferences (Information to Come)

Shoe Drive

PJHS will be joining the Parents Helping Students/Staff (PHS/S) group at PHS and participating in a shoe drive. Students and staff can donate gently used (or new) shoes to help provide for people all over the world. We are collecting shoes of any type and size. Our goal is to collect 50 pairs of shoes at PJHS.

There will be collection boxes outside the main office at PJHS where students and staff can place the donated shoes between Wednesday, 9/23, and Friday, 10/9.

Thank you for helping us reach our goal!

Return to School Guidelines

PJHS has developed Return to School Guidelines. Our goals for developing these guidelines include:

  • Protecting the health and safety of students, staff, and anyone that enters the building.
  • Providing the best education possible to our students while still following the guidelines given from the federal, state and local levels.
  • Providing our students with the support needed for social and emotional development.
  • Creating environments throughout the building that are able to provide social distancing.

Please see the videos below highlighting the Return to School Guidelines throughout the building.
