Principal's Message

We are looking forward to a great 2nd half of the school year! This year is moving very quickly. Upcoming dates include:

-January 31 - Lock-In

-February 3 - 8th Grade Curriculum Fair, 6:30, PHS 

-February 5 - Orchestra Concert at 7 PM

-February 10 - PowerSchool/Schoology Parent Night at 7:30 PM in the Library

-February 13 - 8th Grade Class Photo, 7:50 AM

-February 13 - Evening of Love Choir Concert at HPI

-February 14 - No School, Teacher In-Service

-February 17 - No School, Presidents' Day

 

PJHS Student Council is seeking out adult volunteers to help chaperone the PJHS Lock-In on Friday, January 31. The event runs from 7:00-9:30PM, and consists of multiple activities for students to partake in such as dancing, video games, mega board games, dodgeball, etc. If you're interested in volunteering, please sign up. If you have any questions, please contact Corinne Roach at croach@perrysburgschools.net. Freedom Shrine Contest

Attention 8th Graders!

Registration is now open for the fFREEDOM SHRINE CONTEST.

The contest is sponsored and multiple prizes awarded to 3 PJHS students by the

PERRYSBURG EXCHANGE CLUB.

The Freedom Shrine is a Collection of 32 Historic United States Documents (1600's to 1900's). These documents serve as windows to America's proud past.

Details about the contest will be provided in your Social Studies class.

8th Grade Registration Meeting and Curriculum Fair

All 8th grade students who will be going to Perrysburg High School next year are invited to attend the 8th grade Registration Meeting and Curriculum Fair Monday, February 3, at 6:30 PM in the PHS auditorium. This is a very important meeting, as all registration materials will be handed out at this evening.
 
The curriculum fair will immediately follow the registration meeting in the auditorium. PHS staff will be on hand to answer questions about their classes. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about some of the clubs, sports, and activities that Perrysburg High School has to offer. Please do not miss the eveninig if you are in the Class of 2024.

Dodgeball Tournament

PJHS  DODGEBALL  TOURNAMENT!

Attention Students: Roses are Red, Dodgeball is Cool, Come to the tournament at our school!

H.I.P.P. is sponsoring a dodgeball tournament for all PJHS students and will be held on Friday, Feb. 28th after school.

ONE person from each team can pick up a registration packet outside Miss Derr’s room (230) or Mr. Ferguson’s room.

ALL registrations are due to Miss Derr by Feb. 5th!

YES - you can ask teachers and staff to be on your team!

PowerSchool/Schoology Parent Night

PJHS would like to invite all parents to a PowerSchool/Schoology Parent Night on Monday, February 10, at 7:30 PM in the Library. This is a great opportunity to learn more about how to effectively use PowerSchool and Schoology to stay current on important information regarding your child's education. This is also a great opportunity to hear about the many ways that you can support your child by accessing PowerSchool and Schoology.

Pick Up/Drop Off During School Hours

PJHS now has a new secure vestibule for parents and students to enter during school hours (7:50am-2:45pm).

The entrance is at the front of the building (facing South Boundary).

Procedures for early dismissal and late arrival are outlined in the following document:
