What is the required age for Preschool?
A student must be 3 years old and toilet-trained to begin preschool.
We do enroll throughout the school year for those children turning three years old after the school year starts, providing there is space.
How many days a week is the Preschool program?
Classes are Monday through Thursday; students are not in attendance on Fridays.
What are the times of Preschool?
A.M. class is 9:15-11:45 a.m.
P.M. class is 12:45- 3:15 p.m.
Is there a difference in the A.M. vs P.M. class?
Typically, we strive to have the older students in the afternoon session and the younger students in the morning session. Younger students are often still napping and therefore do better in the morning session. Additionally, by grouping the students similar in age, the teachers are able to better support the developmental needs of the students.
May I request the section and/or teacher?
You may certainly share your preference, however student placements are made based on numerous considerations and therefore no request can be guaranteed.
What are the class sizes (ratios) for Preschool?
Classes will never have more than 16 children in a classroom with one teacher and at least one assistant.
When will I be able to register?
Registration for 2020-2021 school year opened on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at noon and will remain open throughout the 2020-2021 school year.
What is Preschool Round Up?
Preschool Round Up is the day that parents/guardians enroll students for the next school year. The Preschool Round Up was held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the administration building (140 E. Indiana Ave.) to complete the enrollment process.
Students enrolling after the Round Up day will complete the enrollment process at Union Elementary School by appointment.

What documents are needed for enrollment?

How much does Preschool cost?
Preschool tuition is $160 a month.
How is tuition paid?
It may be paid monthly or in a lump sum.
Are there any tuition stipends or reductions available?
Since preschool is not mandatory, there are no tuition stipends or reductions.
Is there transportation for Preschool?
No, parents/guardians are responsible for transportation to and from school.
Does Perrysburg Schools offer before/after school programs?
No, please contact one of the local child care providers for assistance.
Do students wear uniforms?
Perrysburg Schools does not require students to wear a uniform. We ask that children dress in clothing that is appropriate for the weather as well as for a day of active learning and engagement.
