Seren Kotula just completed her 4th Grade year at Toth Elementary School.
“In class, she is the first to volunteer to help someone in need,” shared Emily Bechtol, 4th Grade Teacher. “She's extremely patient, understanding and accepting of others, and she produces quality and thoughtful work in English Language Arts. She perseveres when faced with challenges and is enthusiastic about learning.”
“She exhibits the Jacket Way behavior in various ways,” shared Nicole Gongwer, 4th Grade Teacher. “She is respectful on a regular basis towards all of her teachers. Oftentimes, she volunteers her time to help out in the classroom or other classrooms. I know I can count on her if I need any assistance. She always comes to school ready to learn with all materials required for the day. During transitions, she is quiet and ready to go. She is a great role model for her peers. Seren always has her work turned in on time!”
Seren is very active in sports outside of school. She plays basketball, soccer and softball.
“Seren is always a kind friend to others,” shared Jason Koval, School Counselor. “She is super responsible at Safety Patrol as she is always on time and willing to help other safety patrollers in need. She is a leader amongst her peers and an all-around sweet kid who does an amazing job of including others, making people feel valued and appreciated, and a great example of the Jacket Way.”
We are so proud of you, Seren!
