Northwest Ohio All­-Star Football Game July 15

The Perrysburg Athletic Boosters will once again host their annual Northwest Ohio All­-Star Football Game at Perrysburg’s Widdel Field at Steinecker Stadium on July 15 at 7:00 p.m. The game features over 100 players representing 47 different schools from across northwest Ohio. The Black team will be coached by Tom Ferguson, retired coach and educator with 35 years of coaching experience, most notably as the head football coach at Rossford High School for 25 years. His staff will include other retired coaches from northwest Ohio. The Gold team will be led by John Miller, former head football coach at Toledo Christian, along with local coaches from the area. The Boosters are proud to announce T.J. Fatinikun as this year’s guest speaker for the All-­Star Game. Fatinikun, a 2009 alumnus of Perrysburg, was a four­-year member of The University of Toledo’s football team, earning third team All Mid­American Conference as a sophomore and a junior. The defensive standout has played the last three years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization. Fatinikun will address members of the All­-Star team on the night of Tuesday, July 12, speaking on his journey from high school to the NFL.
