On Saturday, February 26, 2022, the Perrysburg High School Competition Cheerleading Team placed first in the Division 1 GameDay competition at the OASSA State Cheerleading Competition. The GameDay competition is comprised of a band dance, situational sideline, crowd leading cheer and ending the routine with the Perrysburg Fight Song! There are 18 cheerleaders on the team and they are led by seniors Emma Butera, Keegan Smith and Kerrigan Togrul. Jacket Cheerleading is coached by Karen Kinzig, Margarent Enck and Brienna Thorn.
