The Jacket Gymnasts traveled to Exceleration Gymnastics Center to compete in the Northwest District Championship Meet on Friday, February 25th. The Jacket Gymnasts took first place with a 140.90, in a nail-biter against Anthony Wayne, who scored a 140.175. They captured their 5th consecutive Northwest District Title and punched their ticket to the OHSAA State Tournament.

The team was led by Seniors Anna Miller and Grace Leonard, who earned All Academic Honors and 4 year senior awards. Senior Julia Rajner also earned the 4 year senior award. Sophomores Grace Helton and Ava Kincaid advanced to the state meet as individuals. Helton on vault (1st), floor (1st) and all around (3rd) and Kincaid on vault (2nd), bars (3rd) and all around (4th). Grace Helton, Ava Kincaid, Grace Leonard and Emma Palmer earned All District Awards. Junior Raegan Ruehle received a sportsmanship award.

The Jacket Gymnasts took 9th with a 139.775 at the State Competition in Hillard on March 4th. Grace Helton was 15th on vault and Ava Kincaid was 16th on vault.
