PHS Band Alumni: It’s time to register for the 2018 Alumni Band!

This year's Alumni Night will be held on Friday, September 21 at Widdel Field at Steinecker Stadium. There will be a brief rehearsal at 4:15 p.m. in the Junior High Auditorium, followed by a dinner provided by the Band Boosters. Dig out those dusty instruments for a night of fun, music and memories!

Marching Yellow Jackets host Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser Aug. 13

Community members are invited to a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser at Perrysburg Junior High School on Monday, August 13. The spaghetti dinner will be available in the junior high cafeteria (550 E. South Boundary) from 4:30-6:30 p.m. for $10 per meal. Dinner includes spaghetti with meat or meatless sauce, roll and butter, salad, applesauce, beverage and dessert. Dine in or carry out will be available.

Toth Student competes in AMA National Motocross Championship

Bryce Queen, who will be in second grade at Toth Elementary School this coming school year, loves racing dirt bikes! Bryce has qualified for the largest amateur motocross race in the world: the 37th Annual Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship, presented by Lucas Oil, to be held July 30 through August 4 at the historic Loretta Lynn Ranch in Tennessee.

Two Grads compete at National Speech & Debate Tournament

Kate Lake, a four-time state qualifier in Dramatic Interpretation and ranked third in the state overall in 2018, performed “The Amish Project” by Jessica Dickey. Sophie Walcher, a three-year state qualifier and the highest-ranked interpretation competitor in the 19-year history of the Perrysburg chapter, performed a Humorous Interpretation “Tammy: A Coming of Age Story About a Girl Who is Part T-Rex” by Julia Weiss.
