In honor of their 20th reunion, the Class of 1995 has launched an initiative to create the Lisa Stocking Gruver '95 Grant for Service. Lisa, who passed away in 2012, was a tireless volunteer for many causes. While Lisa focused her efforts with organizations that worked with the environment, children, her faith, and hunger, she encouraged others to give to causes close to their hearts. It is because of the way in which she led her life that the class has chosen to create this fund.

The Perrysburg Schools Foundation will manage this fund and create a student group that will learn about the importance of being involved citizens of their community. This student group will be empowered to become philanthropists by awarding classroom grants based on the criteria and process developed by the group, all in Lisa’s name. It is this incubation of future non-profit and community leaders that makes this project so exciting.
