Henry Ochoa

Toth Elementary School
 
smiling studentHenry Ochoa, 4th Grade Student at Toth Elementary School, is not only a terrific big brother by walking his Kindergartner sister to class every morning, but he is an avid BMX rider!
 
“His Jacket Way behavior is modeled daily and he always has a smile on his face,” shared his teacher, Mrs. Emily Bechtol. “He knows how to learn from his mistakes and to turn a difficult task into a great learning experience.”

Employee Spotlight
Ellie Bankey
Intervention Specialist
Frank Elementary
 
woman smilingEllie Bankey is in her second year as an Intervention Specialist at Frank Elementary. This year, she is also interning with the school counselor, Alyssa Neumeyer.
 
Fellow Intervention Specialist Christina Temple shared: “As both an Intervention Specialist and as our Intern Guidance Counselor, Ellie Bankey is always a true professional. She exemplifies dedication, compassion and perseverance. This truly shows each day when I see her working with our students on academics as well as helping them navigate emotional issues. We are very fortunate to have Ellie on our staff!”
 
In addition to the outstanding work she does at Frank Elementary, Ellie and her husband volunteer at Tails Around Toledo, where they walk and care for sheltered dogs for up to three hours a week. They also serve at Cherry Street Mission where they helped support a Thanksgiving dinner for a local family.
