The Perrysburg High School Rowing Team was in Zanesville on Saturday and Sunday competing at the Midwest Scholastic Rowing Championship. We competed against 32 other teams from 8 states on a 1500 meter course. We had 6 boats advance to finals, and had 1 boat medal.
Men's Varsity 1x: Ethan Gruden. Finished 6th with a time of 7:10.
Men's Varsity 2x: Sean Kucic, Andy Gudgeon. Finished 6th with a time of 6:51.
Men's Varsity 2-: Xander Zarobinski, Landon Graham. Finished 2nd with a time of 6:36.5
Men's Varsity 4+: Sean Kucic, Tim Voltz, Oni Ahmetaj, Ethan Gruden, and coxswain Mairead Dalton. Finished 7th with a time of 6:21.
Women's Varsity 1x: Kennedy Rowley. Finished 5th with a time of 7:48.
Women's Varsity 2x: Ava Bockbrader, Bailey Vogel. Finished 6th with a time of 6:27.
Landon Graham and Xander Zarobinski also each qualified for USRowing Youth Nationals in Sarasota, Florida.
