Jacket Gymnasts Team places 1st at Tumble for a Cure
The Jacket Gymnasts traveled to Napoleon, Ohio on February 6, 2021 to compete at the annual Tumble for a Cure meet. The meet raises money to help support local families in the gymnastics community who are fighting breast cancer and provide breast cancer awareness.
 
The Jackets placed 1st as a team and remained undefeated for the season. Following behind the Jackets in 2nd place was Liberty Center, followed by Patrick Henry in 3rd.
 
Placing for the Jackets was Emily Myers. She was 1st on vault, 3rd on bars, 1st on beam, 2nd on floor and 1st in the all around.
 
Senior Emma Gardner placed 2nd on vault, 9th on bars, tied for 2nd on beam, 3rd on floor and tied for 3rd in the all around.
 
Sophomore Carley Milligan placed 4th on vault, 6th on bars, tied for 2nd on beam, 6th on floor and tied for 3rd in the all around.
 
Sophomore Kara Lintner placed 6th vault, 15th on bars, 5th on beam, 6th on floor and 7th in the all around.
 
Junior Julia Rajner placed 12th on vault 12th, 11th on bars, 11th on beam, 13th on floor and 10th in the all around.
 
Senior Anna Miller placed 1st on vault and 2nd on bars.
