At its October 4 Board of Education Meeting, Perrysburg Schools announced plans to create a Strategic Planning Committee (SPC). The mission of the SPC is to renew, build upon, expand and rethink initiatives from our current plan as well as outline new directions. We will reinvest in our vision and mission as well as our school district goals.
We look forward to an inclusive and highly effective process, resulting in a solid and workable plan that will serve as a roadmap for decision-making, continued school improvement and student success over the next several years.
It's extremely important to us that a cross-section of individuals from a variety of backgrounds, roles and perspectives within our school community be involved. The team will be charged with reporting findings to the Board of Education.
The Strategic Planning Core Team will be actively involved in critical phases of the Strategic Planning process. The Core Team is scheduled to meet five times over the course of the planning process. Here is our schedule:
- Core Team Session #1: Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 6 to 7 p.m.
- Core Team Session #2: Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Core Team Session #3: Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Core Team Session #4: Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Core Team Session #5: Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- May 2023 – Present to the Board of Education
The school district will select members of the SPC from applications received by
noon on Friday, November 11, 2022, at the Board of Education offices (140 E. Indiana Ave., Perrysburg), either by completing a form available at that office and physically returning it, filling out the form online via this link (
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/QWPNQ3C) or emailing a completed form to
[email protected]. Selections will be announced on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.
