8th Grade
Perrysburg Junior High School

Vesha Garg, 8th grade student, has become one of our outstanding student leaders at Perrysburg Junior High School. Vesha is a student who dedicates her time to enrichment in both her academics and her extracurriculars.

Along with earning High Honors academically, Vesha is an active member of WEB – a peer mentoring and transitioning program, the Girls in STEM Club, the World Language Club, MathCounts, the PJHS Orchestra Program and recently won the school-wide Spelling Bee.

“Vesha is a valuable member of the Perrysburg Junior High String Ensemble,” said Miss Kathleen Schnerer, PJHS Orchestra Teacher. “As a violinist and in other areas of her life, she is hard working, competent and inquisitive. She has high aspirations and works endlessly toward her goals. One of Vesha's many strengths is her communication skills. She always asks for clarification when she needs help. Vesha has a passion and love of music, as well as a love of learning, which will bring her great success and joy throughout her life.”

In addition, Vesha’s Social Studies Teacher, Mr. Wade Kuns, stated that she is a “kind, caring, hardworking, brilliant and empathic person. Vesha is highly motivated to succeed and possesses a desire to learn that I envy. I believe she truly loves learning and being in school. She loves learning for the sake of learning, which is a unique trait for anyone, let alone a junior high student. Vesha wants to be a Cardiologist, and I believe she will become one of the best.”

Outside of school, Vesha enjoys painting and playing tennis, and she looks forward to competing on the high school team next year.

We’re so proud of you, Vesha!
