Perrysburg Schools will host a second community engagement session on Monday, open to all stakeholders, to present and discuss the redrawing of elementary school boundaries. Due to the recent operating levy defeat, Perrysburg Schools is facing a 17% budget reduction, forcing school district personnel to make tough decisions to maintain quality education.
In an effort to maximize building space, gain better efficiencies with staff utilization and bus routes, and delay the need to purchase additional classroom trailers, redrawing elementary school boundaries has been identified as one step that will result in needed cost savings and equitable and efficient use of our resources. These changes would take effect at the start of the 2025-2026 school year.
All Perrysburg residents who would like to review the options available for the new elementary boundaries plan, and would like to ask questions and offer feedback, are invited to participate in one of the following ways:

A recommendation for the redistricting plan will be presented and recommended to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 5:45 p.m. at the Commodore Building.
