Lady Jackets Sweep Cross Country NLL’s

The Perrysburg High School Girls Cross Country Team had a dominating performance Saturday at the NLL Cross Country Championships, winning both the varsity and open races. The varsity team finished with 25 points, taking first place. Top finishers were: Aubrey Duhaime (18:38), Maddy Wagner (18:53), Anna Dalton (19:13), Brooke Daudelin (19:45), Aubrey Wyckoff (19:46), Sydney Daudelin (19:47) and AnnaSophia Gower (19:47). All seven of the varsity runners finished below 20 minutes and were in the top 10.

Equally impressive was the JV event where the Lady Jackets took the top 11 spots in the race, giving them a perfect score of 15. Leading the way in the open race was Olivia Fenneken (19:43). Following closely behind were Hailey Lambdin (20:13), Ella Sibbersen (20:24), Taylor Moody (20:37), Lydia Reiter (20:41), Sage Colon (20:50) and Hailey Beier (21:08). This sets the team up for a great position going into the District Meet next week in Findlay. The Girls Cross Country Team’s impressive season has earned them a top 20 ranking in the State of Ohio. The impressive teamwork and support have been a key part of what has earned them their success and reputation as a premiere cross-country program.
