Perrysburg Schools Spotlight

Junior Achievement

JA Volunteer with StudentsAbout 20 O-I volunteers recently delivered Junior Achievement curriculum to over 400 K-4th grade students at Frank Elementary School. JA has programs in all of our schools.

“We absolutely love the JA in a Day program!” shared Dr. Chad Warnimont, Frank Elementary School Principal. “We are so appreciative of the JA in a Day volunteers for giving back to our students. Our students learn so much from them on this day that they can apply in their daily lives. We also appreciate the JA in a Day volunteers being excellent role models for our students and encouraging our students to think about how they can be successful contributing citizens to our society now and in the future.”

The O-I volunteers used JA activities to help Frank students understand how business and government jobs help a community, that voting is a way responsible citizens act, how entrepreneurs promote a healthy economy within a city and more.

Here is some of the feedback the O-I team used to describe their JA in a Day experience at Frank Elementary School:
“I always love doing this! This is the third year and I will definitely recommend it to others!”
“Great interaction with the entire class. The subjects were very engaging to the students.”
“Really fun! The students were amazing, smart and well-behaved.”

Thank you O-I volunteers for participating in this exciting and educational JA in a Day for our students!
