Program Spotlight
Parents Helping Students/Staff
Perrysburg High School

Parents' Helping Students/Staff (PHS/S) is the Perrysburg High School parents’ club. The organization supports students and employees through volunteering, raising money for special classroom purchases, promoting school spirit and providing appreciation and affirmation to the PHS family.

PHS/S provides volunteer assistance for PHS Staff and student events. Additionally, PHS/S supports: student treats and prizes, Staff Appreciation events, Graduation Yard Signs, Senior Car Giveaway/Picnic and more.

Do have a gently used homecoming or prom dress from the past several years just hanging in the closet? Won’t be using it again? Don’t know what to do with it? Please consider donating it to PHS/S. Gently used formal dresses are being collected for a formal dress sale at PHS in April before Prom, where students from any school throughout the area may come find a dress at a very low cost. All proceeds from the dress sale will go back to support all students and staff at PHS next school year. Those who donate a dress will have their name entered for a chance to win two PHS prom tickets or an Ulta gift card – the winner chooses. Dresses may be dropped off at the Commodore Building (140 E. Indiana Ave.) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Details on the dress sale will be released soon!

PHS/S will also host a Spring Craft Show on Saturday, April 18, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Perrysburg High School (13385 Roachton Road). Admission will be $2 per person at the door. The event is open to the public, and all members of the community are encouraged to come. All 40 vendor slots have been filled!

PHS/S is one of Perrysburg Schools’ 15 district support organizations, which are non-profit entities, booster organizations or groups, parents’ clubs and parent-teacher organizations that are formed and operate for the purpose of supporting Perrysburg Schools’ programs. Perrysburg Schools would not be the destination district we are without the hard work of these volunteers! Thank you!!!

Student Spotlight
Eddie Callahan
Third Grade
Woodland Elementary School

Eddie CallahanEddie Callahan, a third grader in Mrs. Sarah Mercer's classroom, is a great example of someone who demonstrates The Jacket Way!

“Eddie brings so much light to our classroom,” shared Mrs. Mercer. “He has come in with a positive attitude every morning and helps brighten these gloomy winter days. Eddie is a wonderful storyteller and loves to be engaged in class. He gets excited about learning and spreads that enthusiasm to other students. I'm very grateful that I get to be his teacher this year!”

We’re so proud of you, Eddie!

Jennifer BealeOur Toth families know Mrs. Jennifer Beale as a dedicated music teacher and leader of the morning and afternoon car line, but to others, Mrs. Beale is known as Lieutenant Colonel Beale.
