Join director Rob Gentry, assistant director Deb Drew and the talented Perrysburg High School cast and crew in a hilarious presentation of Lend Me A Tenor by Ken Ludwig. This production marks a milestone for Mr. Gentry, as this fall play was the first performance when the current high school location opened in 2001 and is now his 100th show in 2020. Rob has directed and shared his love for the theatre with PHS for over 30 years and has developed our theatre program to be the best in the northwest!
As part of Rob Gentry's 100th celebration, an endowed fund for theatre has been created with the Perrysburg Schools Foundation in partnership with the PHS Theatre Boosters. This fund will be used to enhance the theatre budget moving forward.
“It is exciting that alumni, employees and families of current and former students have stepped up to support this effort,” shared Jeff Abke '96, Director of Development, Perrysburg Schools. “It speaks volumes about the impact that Rob has had over the years with students and the community. It is fitting that part of his legacy will be that this fund, in his name, will continue to support students in perpetuity.”

On stage November 5, 6, 7 and 8, Lend Me A Tenor, a madcap, screwball comedy, is guaranteed to leave you teary-eyed with laughter. Don’t miss this talented group light up the stage. There will be four performances at the Perrysburg High School Auditorium:
• Evening Performances: Thursday, Friday & Saturday; November 5, 6 and 7 at 7:30 p.m.
• Matinee Performance: Sunday, November 8 at 2:30 p.m.
Please note that seating limits due to the COVID-19 pandemic prevent us from honoring Senior Stinger Activity Passes for the live performances.
If the shows are sold out, no worries! You can pre-order the show recording for $15 through the ticket website. You can enjoy the video as many times as you want within the 48 hours rental period, which begins at the time you start watching, during the run of the show from November 5-8, 2020.
