Michelle Predmore earns Perrysburg Schools Shining Star Award
Congratulations to Michelle Predmore, who was named Perrysburg Schools’ Fall 2018 Shining Star Award Recipient at the November Board of Education Meeting. She is a STEM Teacher at Toth & Fort Meigs Elementary Schools. The award is presented twice annually to an employee who is nominated by his/her colleagues as a Shining Star of our school district. A panel representing a cross-section of the district chooses the award recipient from a pool of nominees. The Griffioen Insurance Agency also recognized her with a gift certificate.

Toth Interim Principal Dale Wiltse submitted the following nomination:

Michelle is a remarkable and selfless person who is solely dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students, parents and staff. She provides for one of the largest case loads in the district of individual students that she teaches each week in Perrysburg schools. Michelle is responsible for nearly 1,100 students  as she serves both Toth and Ft. Meigs in her role as a STEM teacher. 
Her leadership skills are both valued and appreciated as an active member of  Toth's BLT. In addition, she leads a program called Minecraft Monday and serves as our building Jacket Way committee.

At Ft. Meigs, she is solely responsible as the yearbook coordinator for the entire school.

At the district level, Michelle is an active member of the Superintendent's Faculty Advisory committee and is a member of the Jedi committee (where she pilots new and different technologies), and further is a member of the District Technology committee (where they review technology concerns and issues and research future opportunities as well). In addition, she serves a member of the District PBIS committee . Further, Michelle has large scale responsibilities within the district including AimsWeb and ALEKS. She is a teacher leader within our district as she serves as a PEA representative for Toth elementary staff.

Michelle is a "go to " person period! She is a trusted teacher, respected leader, dedicated colleague, confidant , and a valued trouble shooter for technology information and quick concerns in both buildings as well.

Michelle is a shining star who lets her light shine for the MANY lives that she touches at Toth, Ft. Meigs and throughout our entire district.
