French Club Invites Community to Mardi Gras
C'est Mardi Gras! Eat a cre^pe and a beignet! Grab some beads! Make a mask! Dance! Sing! Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Perrysburg High School French Club will wrap the high school Commons in purple, green and gold for their Mardi Gras celebration on Saturday, February 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The carnival will include food, music, prizes, games and crafts.

Several PHS clubs will offer booths with games and small toys, candy or prizes. Games will be inexpensive, costing only one or two tickets, and those tickets will enter participants into a drawing for prizes donated by local businesses.

The community is encouraged to come and join the fun. PHS French Club advisors Madame Maureen Gerber and Monsieur Josh Furrie, as well as the French Club officers, would like to thank the following local businesses for their generous prize donations (as of press time): Bai Du, Books-a-Million, Casa Barron, Cinemark Theatre, Clean Juice, Fifth Street Pub, Marco’s Pizza, Poco Piatti, Pure Barre, Rae Rays, Starbucks, Stella’s and Tea Tree Asian Bistro.
