PHS Senior named NIAAA Ohio Student-Athlete Scholarship Program Winner
Karter Seitz, Perrysburg High School senior and Cross Country and Track and Field athlete, was recently selected as the NIAAA (National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association) State of Ohio Student-Athlete Scholarship Program Winner. Karter’s essay, which documents how high school athletics has enhanced his educational experience, was selected as the best entry from the State of Ohio.
The NIAAA thanks Karter for helping the organization illustrate the many ways that athletics positively influences the lives of student-athletes.
Karter will now represent Section 2 of the NIAAA and his essay will be judged among all eight NIAAA sections for the national scholarship prize.
