Presentation on Career Readiness Monday, November 4
Dear Families of Students in Grades 5-12,
Internationally-respected speaker and best-selling author Mark Perna is coming to our area on Monday, November 4, 2019. Perrysburg Schools—along with four other school districts, Penta Career Center and The University of Toledo—would like to extend an invitation to attend the event. Mr. Perna will be presenting at the Springfield High School auditorium (1470 S McCord Road, Holland OH) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on November 4th. Mr. Perna has an incredible message about making our students career-ready. The presentation is free and open to the public.
Mr. Perna has published numerous articles in national publications as a recognized voice in student engagement and success. His award-winning bestseller, Answering Why: Unleashing Passion, Purpose and Performance in Younger Generations, was written to help parents, guardians, employers and educators understand Generations Y and Z and inspire them to greater performance in all areas of life.
After successfully parenting two Millennials as a single father, Mr. Perna has become a passionate advocate for bridging the generational divides that are contributing to America’s skills gap. Parents, guardians, schools, districts, businesses and state organizations across North America have used Mark’s insights and strategies to connect more effectively with the younger generations.
