Girls Track Qualifies 3 Athletes to the State Meet
The Regional Track Meet at Amherst this year faired very well for the Perrysburg High School Girls and Boys Track Teams. Three girls qualified to compete in the State Meet at OSU on May, 31 and June 1st. Those athletes who qualified to the State Meet are Emma Francis, Alexia Moehling and Tianna Mulligan. Alexia won the 100 Hurdles and broke her own school record in a time of 14.72. Emma placed 6th in the 100 Hurdles, was 2nd in the 300 Hurdles and broke the 300 Hurdle school record in a time of 43.71. Tianna placed 2nd in the 100 in personal best of 12.32 and 3rd in the 200. Another placer for the girls was Freshman Aubrey Duhaime, who was 5th in the 3200 run. Aubrey ran a personal best time of 11:05.13. On the Boys Side, Marc Baroncini broke his own school record in the 3200 in the time of 9:27.27 and placed 6th. Harrison Hosler also placed 7th in the High Jump with a jump of 6'0".

Other Regional competitors were 4 x 800 (Menke, Duhaime, Fenneken and Colon 13th), 4 x 400 (Navarette, Bohney, Mulligan and Francis 13th), 4 x 100 (Scoble, Dana, Williamson and Moehling 11th), Scoble in Pole Vault (16th), Jackson in 200 (13th), Togrul in 300 Hurdles, Muck in Discus (15th) and Grycza in 3200 (10th).

The Girls Team placed 3rd out of 32 teams and the Boys finished 33rd out of 42 teams. Great season and good luck next week at the State Meet to Alexia, Emma and Tianna!
