The Perrysburg Athletic Boosters are proud to welcome Nick Holley as this year’s guest speaker for the All-Star Game. Holley, a 2013 Whitmer graduate, recently completed his collegiate football career at Kent State University. During his tenure with the Golden Flashes, Holley was a focal point of the Kent State offense. Holley’s versatility proved to be his greatest strength, seeing action as a receiver, running back and quarterback en route to accumulating over 2,000 total yards from scrimmage and 19 touchdowns during his collegiate career. Prior to suffering a knee injury his senior year, Holley was named the Lt. Jack Rittichier Award winner for the team MVP during his junior year and was named to the Academic All-MAC Team while earning MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete honors. At Whitmer, Holley was the 2012 Toledo Blade Player of the Year and helped the Panthers reach the 2012 Division 1 state title game. In 2018, after the completion of his collegiate career, Holley signed an un-drafted free agent contract with the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams where he spent training camp. Holley will address the All-Stars on Thursday, June 20 on how football has taught him to persevere through challenges that he has encountered through his life.
