PJHS Students to perform with Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra
The Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra will perform a spring concert on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. at Perrysburg Junior High School (550 East South Boundary). The Perrysburg Junior High Academic Options Orchestra will play side-by-side with the Symphony. They will perform Handel’s “Concerto Grosso,” Puccini’s “O Mio Babbino Caro,” Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Dance of the Tumblers” and will then have the opportunity to listen to The Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra perform Tchaikovsky’s “Marche Slave” and Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9 in E Minor, “New World Symphony.” The conductor will be J. Patrick Barrett, Orchestra Director, Perrysburg Junior High School.

The PJHS Academic Options (AO) Orchestra is an auditioned ensemble made up of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who meet during a period at school called "Academic Options," which is an opportunity to provide enrichment for advanced orchestra students.

Ticket prices are adults $12.00, seniors $10.00 and students with a valid ID are free as well as children. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
