PHS Swim Team completes Another Successful Season

The Perrysburg High School Swim Team had multiple success stories throughout the season. The Boys finished 7 - 3 in the Dual Meet season, 2nd in the NLL and won the 200 Free Relay at NLLs for the fourth year in a row. The Girls finished 4 - 5 -1 in the Dual Meet season, 4th in the NLLs. Both teams won the Black & Orange Invite in Dayton.

The swimmers earning All NLL Honors (top two) were: Andrew Beer, Lincoln Bockbrader, Junbo Chen, Drew Enos, Campbell Fisher, Kathryn Fisher, Helena Hickman, Anna Koeppl, Jason Mefferd, Krit Uthaisang and Kayla Williams.

Andrew Beer broke three school records: 200 IM, 100 Free and 200 free. Kathryn Fisher broke two school records: 200 free and 500 free. Kathryn Fisher was the District Champion (3rd in school history in any event) in the 200 free and she placed 23rd at the State Meet. Kathryn was the only freshman qualifier for the event in Division 1 (large school). Campbell Fisher broke one school record: 100 fly.

The following swimmers were district qualifiers (top 32 in district): Andrew Beer, Lincoln Bockbrader, Junbo Chen, Nicole Dibling, Allison Driver, Drew Enos, Campbell Fisher, Kathryn Fisher, Helena Hickman, Anna Koeppl, Julia Lee, Eric Mefferd, Jason Mefferd, Krit Uthaisang and Kayla Williams.

Team MVPs were: Andrew Beer and Kathryn Fisher. Coaches Leadership Award winners were: Campbell Fisher and Allison Driver. Most Inspirational Swim - Kathryn Fisher - 200 Free at Districts. Most Inspirational Meet - Drew Enos at Districts. Most Improved - Cecily Hayward and Enrique Morales-Ayala.
