Food Distribution Programs

Perrysburg Schools, the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo and the Perrysburg Heights Community Association have once again partnered to ensure the hunger needs of our students and community are met during the school year. The organizations are distributing meals and food items on a weekly basis. Please see below for three programs that are now available. There are no eligibility requirements for any of these programs.

For Hybrid Schedule (Grades 7-12) & Perrysburg Virtual Academy
Every Monday Beginning September 21, 2020: Breakfast and lunch items will be distributed to Perrysburg Schools students who are participating in the Perrysburg Virtual Academy, or are on the hybrid schedule at the Junior High and High School. Food will be distributed via a car line at the Perrysburg Heights Community Center (12282 Jefferson Avenue). To sign up for Monday, September 21, you will need to register by this Friday, September 18.
 
Hybrid Schedule Students: The car line runs between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Mondays for students on the hybrid schedule. Students will receive meals for the three remote learning days when school is in session.
 
PVA Students: The car line runs between 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Mondays for students enrolled in the Perrysburg Virtual Academy. PVA students will receive meals for the 5 days of remote learning when school is in session.
 
Items may be picked up anytime during that timeframe. Safety precautions will be in place for social distancing and will be explained when you arrive. Please click the links below to sign up for this service.

Food Bags – Serving All Community Members
Every Wednesday: Food bags (single-serve meals, snacks, breakfast items and meal ingredients), cleaning products and hygiene products are available at the Perrysburg Heights Community Center every Wednesday through the Food Pantry. There is no registration or sign up for this service and it is open to all community members. Individuals/families may visit the pantry between the hours of 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.
 
Warm Meals To-Go – Serving All Community Members
The Second Saturday of Each Month: Warm meals to-go are provided by the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo and are available at the Perrysburg Heights Community Center. There is no registration or sign up for this service and it is open to all community members. Individuals/families may visit the center to pick up warm meals between the hours of 12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month.
