Northwest Ohio Gymnastics Districts Competition February 22, 2019

The Jacket Gymnasts traveled to Bowling Green State University’s Anderson Arena February 22, 2019. The Jacket Gymnasts have been District Champions for two consecutive years. The Jackets scored 135.825 to capture 1st place. Capturing first place team secured a spot for the Jacket Gymnasts to compete at State as a team. The second place team, Liberty Center, also secured a team spot to compete at State. In 3rd place was Holgate, 4th Patrick Henry and 5th Springfield.

Caitlin Madigan placed 1st on vault, 3rd on bars, 2nd on floor and 2nd in the all-around, earning her a trip to state to compete as an individual.

Karrington Scoble placed 5th on bars at Districts, earning her sport to compete at State as an individual on that event.

The following Jacket Gymnasts placed in the top 10 at Districts and were named to the All District Team: Caitlin Madigan, Karrington Scoble, Katie Ruby and Grace Leonard.

Senior Claire Hanley was named as All Academic Ohio and OHSAA Sportsmanship Award.
