In this screwball comedy, George and Charlotte Hay are aging actors who never quite made The Big Time. Their financially strapped, talent-poor repertory company is housed at a tiny theatre in Buffalo in the early 1950s when a miracle happens: the lead in Frank Capra’s new movie has fallen down the stairs and now Mr. Hollywood himself is flying to Buffalo to look for a replacement – at the Hay theatre! Unfortunately for poor George and Charlotte, everything that could possibly go wrong, does! Hilarious misunderstandings pile on madcap misadventures, in this valentine to theatre hams everywhere.

The continued success of the theatre program at PHS is only possible with the help of our wonderful community. The PHS Theatre Department is asking for financial support in the form of sponsorships again this year to ensure the continuation of quality theatre productions.
