Perrysburg Boys Cross Country team finishes 12th at State Meet

At the OHSAA State Cross Country Championships in Hebron, Ohio, the Perrysburg Boys Cross Country team finished 12th out of 20 teams competing. This was the second year in a row that the team has qualified for the meet, and only the third time a Perrysburg Boys team has done so. Last year they finished 20th.

Leading the way was Senior Andrew Monheim, who finished 75th with a time of 16:41.9. Seniors Karter Seitz (76th place) and Adam Billmaier (79th place) were right behind him with a time of 16:42.0 and 16:42.6, respectively. Finishing fourth for the Jackets was Senior Adam Ohls (87th place) with a time of 16:45.5 and Freshman Marc Baroncini was 102nd overall, with a time of 16:55.7. Junior Drew Enos finished 157th with a time of 17:31.5 and Freshman Ben Keller ran an 18:00.1, finishing in 174th place.

Overall this season, the Yellow Jackets won 5 of the 10 meets they completed in, with the NLL Championship being only the third one in school history and the District Championship being the first one!
