PJHS Courtyard Improvement Project

Many 7th and 8th graders helped Art Teacher Maura Amato for a week and a half and the Perrysburg Junior High School courtyard is looking much improved! They received potted plants donated by Student Council, $100 for plants from an aide at school, money for mulch from Mr. Swartzmiller and pond plants from The 577 Foundation. Black Diamond gave them 15% off to buy plants and even included a free rose bush. The inspiration was a conversation between Mrs. Amato and Custodian Doug Johnson about how they could beautify the courtyard. Perhaps the one happiest about the renovation is the mama duck who raises ducklings in the courtyard every year!
