Fourth Annual Jackets Giving Jackets set for Oct. 13

On Friday, October 13, when the Perrysburg High School Yellow Jackets host Springfield, there will be more than a football game. The Athletic Department will sponsor “Jackets Giving Jackets,” an event to encourage those in the Perrysburg community—students, faculty, staff, parents, guardians, alumni and others—to bring a new or used jacket to donate at the game on October 13 at 7 p.m. Jackets will be collected at both ticket entrances and donated to Tent City, an organization started by Perrysburg Alumnus Ken Leslie ’75. Tent City is an annual event designed to deliver the community’s compassion to the homeless at Civic Center Mall from October 20-22, 2017.
