Two Administrators join Perrysburg Schools

The Perrysburg Board of Education has hired Marjoe Cooper to join the district as Assistant Principal at Perrysburg Junior High School and James Mapus to join the district as Transportation Director.

Mr. Cooper will take the place of Dwight Fertig, who will join Eastwood Schools next school year. Mr. Cooper’s contract will begin August 1. Most recently, Mr. Cooper served as Principal at Fremont Middle School since 2016.

Mr. Mapus’ Transportation Director contract will start April 17. He previously served as the Transportation Director of Port Clinton City Schools for seven years.

“We’re very excited to welcome Mr. Cooper and Mr. Mapus,” stated Thomas L. Hosler, Superintendent. “Both of these administrators have proven records and bring rich skillsets to Perrysburg Schools. We’re so fortunate to add their expertise to our administrative team.”
