“We’re so fortunate to have Sara bring her breadth of experience with her as she steps into this new role,” stated Thomas L. Hosler, Superintendent. “We have a great team here and the fact that she has worn so many hats not only in our district, but in the special education community—serving both student and adult populations—makes her a great fit for this position.”

Mrs. Stockwell and the Pupil Services Department will host school-based special education nights in the fall, so she and her team may answer questions and get to know the families.

Charlotte Thompson is being recommended to the Perrysburg School Board of Education to begin August 1 as Assistant Director of Teaching and Learning. She comes to the district from Springfield Local School District, where she served as Director of Curriculum and Instruction. She began her career as a 5th grade teacher and has extensive experience developing curriculum in community schools as well as traditional public schools.

“We’re very happy to welcome Charlotte to the district,” stated Kadee Anstadt, Executive Director of Teaching and Learning. “Her career path from the classroom to leadership in curriculum development makes her ideal for this position. We’re so excited to have her energy and expertise on our team.”
