Woodland's Lisa Watson wins Hero Award

Staff Member Lisa Watson was helping supervise students in the Woodland Elementary School cafeteria when she noticed a student was choking. She immediately took charge of the situation and performed the Heimlich maneuver, which she had been trained to do by our school nurse. The student made a full and immediate recovery. Everyone at Woodland is so proud of “Life-Saving Lisa!”

The Safety Council of Northwest Ohio recently honored Lisa with a Good Samaritan Award at their 50th Annual Hero Awards Banquet!
