Treasurer placed on Administrative Leave

At this morning’s Board of Education Work Session, the Board voted 5-0 to place Treasurer Matt Feasel on paid administrative leave. The motion reads as follows:

Move to authorize and direct the Board President to issue a written notice of an opportunity for a Loudermill hearing to Treasurer Matt Feasel based on performance failures including but not limited to those revealed in the Special Audit report issued by the Auditor of State.

Move that the Treasurer be placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the Loudermill hearing and further Board action, and for the Board to authorize the Board President to direct the Treasurer to perform specific duties as the Board President may determine to be necessary during the period of the administrative leave.
