Admission Charges for 2017 Spring Sports

The principals of the eight Northern Lakes League school districts have agreed to begin charging admission fees for the following spring sports beginning in the Spring of 2017: Baseball, Softball, Track (Boys & Girls) and Lacrosse (Boys & Girls).

Admission costs for these events will be the league-approved rates based on the highest level of competition being played at each event on a particular date. For information about our athletic passes, please click here.

The Northern Lakes League understands the additional financial burden this may place on families and friends who come out to support our student athletes. However, our League continues to see an increase in athletic-related expenses. The gate revenues generated from admission fees during all home sporting events at each member school directly provide for such items as rising equipment and uniform costs, preparing and maintaining athletic facilities and covering officiating fees.

In a statement, the Northern Lakes League and its eight member school districts stressed: “We appreciate the support that you provide to all of our teams and student athletes.”

Perrysburg Schools reminds families that it offers school district residents age 60 or older the opportunity to apply for a Senior Stinger Activity Pass. Senior Stinger Pass holders are entitled to free admittance to Perrysburg Jr. High and High School athletic events such as football and basketball games, as well as plays and musicals produced by the Perrysburg Jr. High and High School Drama Departments free of charge.

While admittance is free, there are times when you need to pick up your tickets in advance in order to reserve a seat. That means if you want to see a play that has reserved seating or could be sold out, you need to pick up your tickets when they go on sale. The tickets will still be free, but if you do not get your tickets in advance, you take the chance of all seats being filled. You must go in person to pick up your tickets. You cannot send your pass with someone else. Unfortunately, the passes are not valid at away games or at tournaments.

Senior Stinger Passes are good for a lifetime. You only have to apply once, and then it’s valid forever. Please call or email Melissa Curson at 419-874-9131 extension 2102 or [email protected] to make an appointment.
