The Junior High Mock Trial Teams recently competed in the State Showcase. The students worked very hard preparing for this event and both teams were awarded ratings of "Outstanding" for their accomplishments. Two students were awarded individual awards – Hanan Sjah was awarded Best Witness for both her portrayals and Michael Rausch was awarded Best Attorney. The case was based on the book The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.
