WORK AND FAMILY LIFE

Work and Family Life Program Philosophy

The staff of the Work and Family Life Department believes in fostering the development of a well rounded, contributing and responsible citizen in his immediate community and in the larger global community. The courses will give students useful and practical skills and knowledge to better enable them to participate in today's family unit.

Courses are designed to meet the individual student's needs and abilities. We feel the subject matter is relevant to the concerns of the teen of the early 21st century, including up-to-date information on nutrition, total body fitness, health issues and changing family patterns. Our philosophy is exemplified through student participation in action projects.
