PERRYSBURG SCHOOLS MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Perrysburg Exempted Village School District in partnership with the community is to motivate, challenge, and prepare all students to attain their full personal, intellectual, social and physical potential, ready to participate in a diverse global society, by providing excellent curricular and co-curricular programs and services in a safe and effective environment.
R.E.S.P.E.C.T.
The manner in which students and staff treat each other is of utmost importance to the staff of Perrysburg Junior High School. R.E.S.P.E.C.T. (Responsibility, Effort, Service, Pride, Enthusiasm, Community Team) is the standard by which all dealings within the PJHS community are based. It is the expectation of teachers and administrators that all members of the PJHS community act respectful towards all. PJHSCares, a direct result of the RESPECT theme, encourages and supports community service projects throughout the school. Thousands of dollars have been raised to benefit local, national and international causes. All students are involved in the decision making, planning and implementation of the community service projects. It is the hope of all staff that the activities at PJHS encourage students to continue to be respectful and service focused long after leaving PJHS.
