General Information
SEEK Program is offered to students currently attending Perrysburg Schools in Grades 1-6. Space is limited! Please register now to reserve your spot! Students receive a SEEK Program  T-Shirt for participating. The cost is $105 for the first child and $85 for each additional child per family.

Students attend the same two courses each day with the following schedule:
Session 1             9:00 a.m. - 10:10 a.m.
Break/Recess      10:15 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Session 2             10:35 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

Registration & Payment Deadline: Friday, May 17, 2019
Slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration fee is non-refundable once a slot is secured. Fee includes all activities, program materials and T-shirt.

Grade 1-2 Courses
 
Planetary Science
Have you gazed up at the stars and wondered about the sky above you? If you have, come explore the wonders of the universe with us. Students will probe into planetary science, make their own constellations, and even train to be an astronaut! Come fly to the stars!

Aquatic Adventures
Fishing for more knowledge about the ocean? Come explore the wonders of sea life! We will study different living and nonliving creatures found in ocean environments. Be ready to dive deep and examine treasures of the sea including shells, sea glass, sand dollars, ocean organisms and more. Strap on your SCUBA gear and be prepared to discover the exciting world of marine biology.

Kitchen Chemistry
Step into our amazing science lab … the kitchen! Students will take ordinary kitchen utensils and ingredients and use them to perform extraordinary experiments! Students will use all of their senses to explore basic concepts in chemistry.

Grade 3-4 Courses

Operation: Ozobotics!
Become a robotics engineer this week as we investigate the amazing capabilities of Ozobots! Your coding abilities will be developed and refined as you program these unique robots!

Ooey-Gooey Science
Think you’ve got the perfect slime recipe? Join us this week as we explore squishy, slimy and bouncy concoctions! Please bring an art shirt or apron to cover your clothes.

Grade 3-4 and 5-6 Courses

The Great Escape!
Love solving puzzles and finding clues? Are you a detective at heart? Come join us as we try to solve mysteries and “break out” just in time!

Stories to Screenplays
If you like to read and you like to watch movies, you’ve probably thought that you could write a movie yourself. Have you? In this session, you’ll learn to write a screenplay for your favorite story (or one you make up) the way YOU want to make it. Come join us as we create screenplays for our favorite stories!

Grade 5-6 Course

Fun Biology
Calling all Budding Biologists! In this session we will learn to use microscopes to examine our own cheek cells and compare them to plant cells, collect our own DNA, and examine protist and planaria in pond water. Participants will also get to dissect owl pellets, sponges, jellyfish and starfish!
